i just got the maggiano's tapes from Curtis. Wow - there's enough
on here for at least two full length CD's. If only it weren't for the
loud drunk shouts and dinner reservations announced over the
intercom system. In any case, there's a lot for me to learn from
these tapes. And there's some primo demo material. Check back
soon for excerpts of these tapes posted on the website.
just as i always suspected...

according to dr. mehmet oz, author of "you: the owner's manual,"
coffee has positive physiological effect: it reduces the chances of
getting and the symptoms of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's and
lowers the risk of liver cancer. not that thinking it was bad stopped
me before. but now, i can go on in peace. another double shot of
espresso, please!

we found a sweet apartment in Queens - very close to the train
and a short ride to midtown. can't believe i'm actually here. i
wonder how long it'll be before reality sets in.
