Yet another cigar rolling class...yet another concert at Casa del Caribe

Rehearsed with Los Cumbancheros in the morning. Then took yet another cigar rolling class - the third time was the charm! Even managed to get the wrapping leaf and cover on well! Returned to the hotel to get some bed rest for a stomach-ache, but was OK in time for a night performance at Casa del Caribe. We had a great time playing for the Cubans, who appreciate a musician’s heart and showmanship almost more than his dexterity or talent. Dinner was at the Hotel Melia’s Italian restaurant - the band was hungering for a meal with American-size proportions.
