La Bodeguita del Medio

We ate dinner at La Bodeguita del Medio, a very famous restaurant and one of Hemingway’s favorite spots. The food was delicious and appropriately expensive; the band was fantastic. After dinner we walked a couple blocks to an open square and sat in an open- air cafe and listened to a more tradicional band. Havana at night is absolutely beautiful - I prefer the city at night, actually. After another round of drinks, a short walk along the Malecon left the band wanting sleep.
