Late night at the Hotel Florida

Spent last night in the hotel bar and helped myself to the baby grand there. Mike and Paul, the sax player, brought their horns down and joined me. Some Cuban musicians came into the bar on their set break and invited us to listen to their band, playing in the hotel’s club. They were part of a wonderful salsa band. We stayed til 2:30am., enjoying the music, rum and cigars, dancing, and camaraderie.
